DELPHI Consensus Study
A DELPHI consensus study was carried out to identify the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for fostering inclusivity in martial arts settings. It shought to understand how martial arts practices can be made more accessible and inclusive for all participants.
The experts involved identified key knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for inclusive teaching. These included understanding individual needs, adapting techniques, effective communication, and a caring approach.

Systematic Review
Two systematic reviews were carried out to assess the effects of martial arts practices
on the physical and mental health status of healthy adults.

They found that martial arts practices can enhance physical health in areas such as muscular strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as mental health benefits such as improvements in self-esteem, emotional regulation, and quality of life.
